In parallel to his roles in facade design and sustainability consultancy for a number of projects including the new ADAC headquarters in Munich, Tom ran the competition studio at Sauerbruch Hutton. In this role he had management and design oversight of a diverse range of international architectural and urban planning competitions.
Previously Tom worked in both the London and Berlin offices for Foster + Partners specialising in the design and delivery of energy-efficient building envelopes.
He has also lived and worked in China and Spain and has taught design units at both the Architectural Association in London and the University of Edinburgh.
