Our competition submission, in collaboration with Heiko Weissbach, for a Blues museum, performance hall and community centre for Notodden in Norway was awarded Honourable Mention from a field of 80 international teams. Looking for common ground between Notodden and the physical origins of blues music our scheme proposes a robust and flexible building that extends the neighbouring industrial and dockside structures onto the site.
